Requirements

  • Obtain a Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university
  • Possess computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Advance level proficiency)
  • Have 6 – 8 years related experience
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of GAAP
  • Possess a strong technical understanding and ability to translate technical requirements into easy-to-understand business concepts
  • Have working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method
  • Be able to work with all levels of management
  • Be able to work independently, meet project deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects. Contribute to team effort
  • Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; be able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Show commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to travel to our corporate office in Roswell, GA periodically as business needs dictate

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for accounting general close process: preparing entries, monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and bank accounts, reviewing financial statements, and preparing analysis
  • Manage revenue process to ensure all accounts are properly posted on a weekly basis
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Prepaid Revenue monthly for three Division entities
  • Compile and summarize financial data for upper management and internal customers for important decision making
  • Conduct Fixed Asset review and entry into Sage subledger with monthly fixed asset roll forward
  • Coordinate and ensure accuracy and timeliness of internal and external financial reporting
  • Perform Monthly variance analysis and flux
  • Review fixed asset ledgers and ensure all items are properly capitalized and depreciated
  • Assist in review of leases for potential ASC842 treatment
  • Assist with coordination of annual independent audit and preparation of supporting schedules/forecasts for annual tax returns
  • Be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with other Corporate Departments such as Operations, Sales & Human Resources
  • Complete Additional ad hoc projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a CPA/MBA
  • Have ASC 842 experience
