Summary

Join Vultr, a leading cloud infrastructure company, as an India Tax and Compliance Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the compliance and reporting of Vultr's India operations, ensuring adherence to Indian tax laws, including direct and indirect taxes. This role requires strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, FEMA, and transfer pricing regulations, as well as experience in tax, compliance, and financial reporting. You will also manage financial reporting, payroll, and financial statement preparation in line with Indian Accounting Standards (IAS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in tax, compliance, and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, FEMA, and transfer pricing regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external service providers effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work cross-functionally with finance teams
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate with company service providers for Withholding Tax compliance on salary and non-salary payments
  • Oversee Corporate Tax Compliance including the payment of advance taxes, filing of corporate tax returns, and any other relevant filings
  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) for the India entity, including the filing of monthly GST returns
  • Manage and support the preparation and submission of GST refund applications
  • Oversee E-invoicing compliance for the India entity to ensure accurate and timely submissions
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and month end close process
  • Payroll review
  • Liaising with 3rd party outsourcers for preparation of financial statements for the India entity in compliance with local IAS
  • Audit support
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, auditors, and financial consultants, to ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Provide timely insights and support to the senior management team for strategic financial planning and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • A professional qualification (e.g., CA) is preferred
  • 2 years in a managerial role is ideal
