Summary
Join Caraway, a fast-growing home goods brand, as a Senior Associate, Production Operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will manage production and procurement processes, coordinate with vendors, and streamline operational efficiencies. This role requires experience in production and procurement, preferably in consumer goods, and strong communication and data analysis skills. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in production, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in consumer goods
- Proven ability to manage high-volume purchase orders and oversee inventory across multiple channels
- Experience with ERPs and tools like Fulfil.io, Anvyl, or Flexport
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis, with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing and executing production operations with vendors in Southeast Asia
- Flexibility to work across time zones to align with global operations
Responsibilities
- Draft, issue, and manage purchase orders with vendors, ensuring all details are accurate and timelines are met
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate directly with global suppliers to track progress and resolve delays
- Oversee product sampling logistics, from factory coordination to quality reviews
- Maintain and update SKU, inventory, and vendor information in ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy
- Support inventory planning by optimizing production capacity and coordinating closely with planning teams and vendors
- Communicate with vendors to ensure alignment on production timelines, compliance standards, and quality expectations
- Schedule and oversee third-party quality inspections, addressing any issues that arise and driving corrective actions
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and propose actionable solutions for vendor management, order tracking, or capacity planning
- Create and maintain SOPs for critical workflows to ensure consistency and scalability
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management or similar field
- Ability to speak Mandarin
