Summary
Join Velocity Global as a Senior Benefits Operations Specialist! This fully remote position, based in Colombia, offers the chance to build and manage aspects of our global benefits programs. You will lead operational aspects of renewals and implementations, resolve process gaps, refine workflows, and coordinate with global vendors. Collaborate with internal teams to identify implementation opportunities and develop resources for new and existing benefits. Support cost booking, vendor billing, and lead conversations with customers and employees. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in global benefits administration, fluency in Spanish and English, and proficiency in benefits administration software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in administrating global or US Benefits
- Business proficiency in the English language
- Fluent in Spanish
- Proficiency in benefits administration software and systems
- Strong understanding of benefits plan design and pricing
- Strong project management and execution skills
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets ability
Responsibilities
- Lead all operational aspects of renewals and implementations, including system updates, outbound communications, benefits process optimization, and resource management
- Identify and resolve operational process gaps associated with new and existing benefits offerings
- Refine implementation workflows and help to ensure successful benefits product launches
- Coordinate regularly with benefits service providers, outsourced vendors, and brokers on a global basis to ensure the success of ongoing benefits administration and daily operations
- Build and maintain relationships with company partners to socialize and manage changes in benefits offerings and processes
- Collaborate with customer and employee-facing teams, as well as the Benefits Design team, to identify implementation groups and opportunities for new benefits offerings
- Develop resources associated with pricing, compliance, frequently asked questions, marketing materials, plan documentation, and other information relating to new and existing benefits offerings
- Support cost booking, vendor billing, customer invoicing, and benefits audit processes
- Lead conversations regarding benefits offerings with customers and supported employees
