- 7+ years of experience in relationship based sales or business development roles
- Ability to understand client responsibilities at a technical level and condense these down to important key points
- Experience working in a CRM and maintaining good documentation
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to estimate deal sizes
Responsibilities
- Create, leverage, and nurture current and new relationships with our target buyer to identify opportunities for VGV
- Lead the sales process, coordinating both internal and client teams to facilitate a decision to engage VGV
- Employ a challenger sales process motion to break down client problems, while effectively navigating and meaningfully connecting with the key decision makers within your target companies who have sway over the final partner decision
- Generate a minimum of 20 new client reach outs a week
- Own and be responsible for your own sales pipeline end-to-end
- Become a subject matter expert on VGV's offerings and be able to communicate their value proposition effectively
- Keep up-to-date notes in our CRM on discovery such that other parts of the business can quickly get up to speed during handoffs or technical discovery discussions
- Stay on top of industry trends and standards to better understand and connect with clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Working experience with hyperscalers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- Literacy around front end UX development platforms - Flutter, React, etc
