Senior Business Development Manager

Summary

Join Mach49 as a Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in Saudi Arabia. You will identify key accounts, cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers, and build our opportunity pipeline aligned with Vision 2030. Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner – GCC and Head of EMEA Business Development, engaging with national champions and enterprise leaders. This fast-track role offers regional leadership potential as you demonstrate results. You will report to the Managing Partner – GCC and play a key role in defining Mach49's presence within Saudi Arabia's innovation ecosystem. The position requires a strong understanding of Saudi Arabia's public and private sectors and fluency in Arabic and English.

Requirements

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or consulting; experience in innovation, venture building, or corporate strategy a strong plus
• In-depth understanding of Saudi public and private sector dynamics, and strong familiarity with Vision 2030 objectives
• Fluent in Arabic and English; confident engaging senior executives
• Self-starter with strategic thinking and strong interpersonal skills, comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field
• Candidate must be a Saudi National

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of high-potential leads, with a focus on large Saudi enterprises and government-linked entities
• Initiate early-stage conversations with client stakeholders and cultivate trusted executive relationships
• Support creation of customized materials including briefs, proposals, and pitch decks
• Represent Mach49 at salons, roundtables, and key ecosystem gatherings
• Maintain CRM records (HubSpot) and coordinate pipeline updates for reporting and pursuit tracking

Strong professional networks across sectors are valuable; existing relationships or connections with government entities are a particular plus
