Summary
Join PointClickCare as a Senior Compensation Partner and partner with HR, People Experience, and Talent Acquisition teams to support client groups in Canada and the US. You will advise on complex compensation matters, build compensation models and budgets, and administer the annual compensation planning cycle. This role requires deep compensation knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with large datasets. You will lead the annual compensation planning process, participate in compensation surveys, and design incentive plans. Requirements
- Experience providing compensation advice to client groups
- Deep knowledge and understanding of compensation design practices, market insights, and industry trends
- Advanced Excel modeling skills
- Experience working with and manipulating large datasets
- Experience designing incentive plans
Responsibilities
- Administer and deliver compensation programs (salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives) to support talent attraction and retention
- Partner with HR Business Partner, People Experience, and Talent Acquisition teams to advise client groups and formulate solutions for compensation issues (new hires, promotions, relocation, retention)
- Evaluate new or changed jobs, analyze market compensation to determine job level and salary range
- Act as a subject matter expert on compensation, highlighting total rewards considerations and involving stakeholders
- Meet with business leaders to gather context for job evaluation and market pricing, explaining rationale for outcomes
- Take a lead role in the annual compensation planning cycle (project plan, budget, market surveys, salary ranges, bonus payouts, data configuration)
- Lead participation in annual compensation surveys and maintain relationships with compensation vendors
- Act as a daily contact with compensation vendors for survey participation, data, and ad hoc requests
- Participate in designing compensation programs and incentive plans to support business objectives
- Build Excel models to test new or improved compensation programs, understanding financial feasibility and employee experience impact
- Provide guidance, coaching, and technical advice to Compensation Partners and Total Rewards team members
Preferred Qualifications
- CCP Designation
- Experience working with Engineering and Technology jobs
- Experience with Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, and/or Aon Radford compensation surveys
