Summary

Requirements

• Have at least 7 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years actively working in a well-established consulting firm
• Experience managing and developing a team of consultants to deliver to a high standard
• Experience working with culturally diverse client and colleague teams is necessary!
• Proven project management skills in growing complex projects with multiple and diverse stakeholders
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial culture. You get things done, pay attention to details as well as strategy and dive deep into the work when necessary. You like to build new ventures and your commitment to quality is unwavering
• Skilled communicator, both written and oral. Comprehensive presentation and facilitation skills. Fearless in delivering complex messages
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead projects across all Sagana Consulting’s topic areas, ensuring quality and further developing team’s skills
• Project Management: Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery across multiple projects at once, by building and directing workplans, timelines and budgets. Direct story-boarding to define the direction of deliverables early in the project
• Team management: Coach team members on project management. Support as needed on client relationships, when difficult circumstances arise. Proactively support cohesion and professional development of the team
• Effectively develop and deepen relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders – both to execute on projects and to build Sagana’s network
• Strengthen existing client relationships and identify/cultivate new ones that generate new business for Sagana. As a director, you will write proposals and pitch new projects to both existing and new clients
