Summary

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience and deep understanding of payer organizations and their needs
  • Understanding of quality measurement systems (e.g., Medicare Stars, HEDIS)
  • Established contacts and networks within leading US healthcare payers
  • Previous success navigating complex relationships with payers and negotiating multi million dollar contracts and large renewal increases
  • Experience building and leading teams who meet and exceed their annual growth and retention goals
  • A curious mindset and a bias for urgency. Someone who has experience leading teams through a climate of change and growth
  • A deep understanding about the nature of an enterprise sale, how to develop an executive account / opportunity strategy and work with and manage a virtual strategic growth team
  • Strong executive-level client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical executives

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for growth and retention of payor clients
  • Develop annual sales plans in support of Kyruus Healths’ strategy and objectives as it relates to strategic partnership sales (e.g. EMR vendor co-sales)
  • Manage a team of client sales reps and coach them on strategy, deployment of strategy, understanding the customer’s needs and the creation of a value-proposition to the customer and joint value-proposition with our partners’ systems
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and develop amazing client sales reps
  • Work to remove blockers in the sales pipeline for your team and will help drive velocity across our strategic growth opportunities
  • Craft and maintain on-boarding materials for sales reps to get them ramped and integrated quickly
  • Track productivity metrics for on-boarding sales reps in order to refine the programming to best meet the needs of the company, the new employee, and our prospects
  • Partner with other departments to assist with, and provide subject matter expertise on various stages of our renewal and growth opportunities throughout the sales cycle
  • Work with other Kyruus Health sales leaders to set and evangelize sales policies and best practices
  • Communicate, execute, and enforce those policies and practices with your direct reports
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to track the performance of individual reps, train on best practices and policies, and manage a team quota
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and executive communicator during renewal and upsell conversations
  • Regularly join sales reps on the road for key meetings and conversations with clients
  • Travel ~60% of the time to prospect sites with various Kyruus Health team members
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders to further support and grow an excellent sales process
  • Work closely with the Marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • You will be responsible for team performance, building and maintaining a high performing team
  • Report to the Vice President, Client Sales in the Client Sales Department within the Sales Division
