This role requires extensive marketing leadership experience, a proven track record of success, deep understanding of digital marketing channels, strong analytical skills, and exceptional leadership and communication skills. A background in management consulting or a high-growth startup is preferred.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a strong focus on strategy development and execution, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that have driven significant growth and achieved business objectives, ideally with experience influencing channel-specific strategies
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, paid social, and CRM with the ability to provide strategic guidance for their optimization
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for both overall strategy and channel-level execution
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including providing strategic counsel to channel owners
- Demonstrated interest and understanding of AI-driven marketing technologies and platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop Marketing Strategy : Work closely with CMO to build a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with Stash's business goals, encompassing brand building, customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Strategic Thought Partnership : Serve as a key thought partner and internal consultant to leaders across various growth channels (e.g., paid acquisition, organic growth, referral), collaborating on the development and optimization of their channel-specific strategies
- Lead Strategic Planning : Oversee the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans, setting clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budgets across all marketing channels
- Optimize the Marketing Funnel : Design and optimize the end-to-end customer journey, identifying key opportunities for improvement in conversion rates and customer lifetime value across all acquisition and engagement efforts
- Explore AI-Driven Marketing Innovation : Proactively research, evaluate, and recommend new AI-powered marketing technologies and platforms to enhance campaign performance, personalize customer experiences, and drive efficiency
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Finance and Data Science teams to ensure alignment and integrated marketing efforts, providing strategic guidance to channel-specific marketing initiatives
- Measure and Report on Performance : Establish robust tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance of marketing initiatives and provide strategic insights to channel leaders and senior leadership
