Join Bitso as the Senior Director of Retail Marketing and lead the Brand, Content, and Creative marketing teams to deliver exceptional campaigns. Lead the Marketing Operations team and collaborate with Growth and Product Marketing for consistent marketing efforts. This role demands a strategic, data-driven leader who can align cross-functional teams, optimize channel performance, and ensure product success in Mexico and Latin America. You will develop and execute comprehensive brand and content marketing strategies, lead various marketing functions, and collaborate with other teams for seamless execution. Responsibilities include driving customer engagement, overseeing marketing localization, fostering cross-functional collaboration, building a high-performing team, and tracking key marketing metrics. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, expertise in brand strategy and content marketing, and exceptional leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Mexico based
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, including at least 3-5 years in leadership positions
  • Proven expertise in brand strategy, content marketing, customer engagement, and CRM
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that reposition and scale brands
  • Direct or indirect experience in financial services, brokerage, fintech, or cryptocurrency
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and growing diverse marketing teams
  • Good understanding of AI tools and how to implement them to increase output quality and velocity
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in Spanish
  • Good understanding of the Mexican market and our key segments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand and content marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and direction
  • Lead Customer Marketing & Engagement, Content & Social Media, Events & Sponsorships, Brand Strategy, and Partnerships Marketing
  • Collaborate closely with Growth and Product Marketing, ensuring strategic alignment and flawless execution
  • Drive customer education and engagement initiatives to empower users to improve their financial well-being
  • Oversee the localization of marketing strategies across multiple Latin American markets, adapting messaging to resonate culturally and contextually
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Product, Legal, Compliance, Data, and Finance teams, ensuring marketing compliance, performance tracking, and efficient budgeting
  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering professional development and growth
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement and retention, and market share expansion among target demographics
