Summary
Join our team as a strategic leader to own and lead the enterprise-wide demand planning function. Build a forward-looking, integrated demand signal aligning sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance. Orchestrate the entire demand planning process, setting its rhythm, tools, and expectations. Lead a small team and drive cross-functional alignment and executive-level decision-making through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This role reports to the VP of Business Transformation and focuses on elevating demand planning into a business-critical function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in demand planning and supply chain leadership, proven ability to design and lead enterprise planning processes, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Requirements
- 10+ years in demand planning, S&OP/IBP, or supply chain leadership, ideally in high-growth CPG or food & beverage
- Proven experience designing and leading enterprise planning processes—not just executing within them
- Strong leadership and executive communication skills—you can influence up, down, and across
- Advanced understanding of forecasting methodologies, data modeling, and scenario planning
- Experience with ERP and planning systems (NetSuite preferred); capable of driving tool selection or system upgrades
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action—you balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution
- Experience managing and mentoring planning professionals
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the enterprise-wide demand planning strategy, including process design, governance, and tool selection
- Lead the monthly demand planning cycle and demand review as part of the IBP process, creating alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
- Serve as the executive voice of the demand signal—owning forecast assumptions, justifying variances, and ensuring all functions plan from the same data set
- Translate top-down strategic goals and bottoms-up forecasts into actionable demand plans across channels and categories
- Lead a high-performing demand planning team; coach and develop direct reports
- Lead scenario planning for key business decisions (e.g., new launches, promotions, retail commitments, or capacity constraints)
- Partner with Operations on alignment between demand forecasts and limited supply
- Partner closely with Sales and Sales Operations to align on customer-level, SKU-specific forecasts, leveraging historical sales trends, current sell-through data, and projected account-level demand and promotions to drive forecast accuracy and inventory readiness
- Continuously assess and improve forecast accuracy, identifying root causes of error and implementing corrective action
- Own the implementation and optimization of demand planning tools and systems in collaboration with IT (e.g., NetSuite, forecasting software)
