Requirements
- 3+ years of event coordination experience, with a proven track record of planning and executing successful in-person events
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and competing priorities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including students, employers, and community partners
- Familiarity with event planning and project management tools and technology (e.g., Asana, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics for in-person events, ensuring alignment with CodePathβs mission and objectives
- Partner with employers, universities, and local teams to plan and deliver impactful events, including setup, staffing, and post-event evaluations
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all events are executed within scope and on schedule
- Support student engagement initiatives by creating inclusive, dynamic event experiences tailored to diverse audiences
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and drive participation
- Manage vendor relationships, including venues, catering, and technology providers, to ensure high-quality event execution
- Track and report on event success metrics, offering insights to improve future programming
- Travel as needed (estimated 10β20%) to oversee on-site event coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the tech, nonprofit or education sector
- Experience planning events that engage college aged students
- Experience planning events in the tech industry
