Summary

Join Quartzy as a Senior Field Marketing Manager to lead field marketing efforts, engaging customers and suppliers to enhance the Quartzy platform's value. This fully remote role, preferably near major airport hubs, requires developing and executing field marketing strategies, managing events, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for driving pipeline growth, customer loyalty, and implementing lead generation tactics. The position demands strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Travel is estimated at 60-70% of the time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field/event marketing
  • Previous experience in a startup environment is a must
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves - we’re still a startup, and everyone pitches in to get the job done
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity - you will know where we need to go, but recognize it won’t always be a straight path to get there
  • Fearless, outgoing, a doer, not afraid to speak out and challenge the status quo
  • Willingness and ability to travel to events - we estimate you’ll be traveling ~60%,70% of the time
  • Should be located near one of the listed locations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supplier management team to collaborate on and coordinate events with supplier partners
  • Develop and execute field marketing strategies and events to align with Quartzy’s growth goals
  • Deliver integrated marketing programs to drive pipeline growth and customer loyalty with customer and prospect organizations. Programs include Quartzy-led events, regional sponsorships, user groups, meetups, executive events, hands-on workshops with supplier partners, and more to to support new customer acquisition and expansion
  • Own and manage agenda, content creation, promotional materials and speaker acquisition for events
  • Manage communications to promote events, including email, LinkedIn, other social media etc
  • Understand regional and industry market trends and adjust event strategy accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless event execution
  • Cross-collaborate with other marketing channels – partner marketing, online, social, press, customer references and others to integrate field programs into customer buyer’s journey
  • Implement lead generation tactics, and an attribution reporting process to measure the number of impressions, conversion rates, and overall success of field marketing events. Analyze event data (pre/post) to measure opportunities and tailor strategies for different audience segments
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers as needed
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and continuously improve strategies based on feedback
  • Leverage Hubspot for process optimisation and results tracking
  • Budget management, expense monitoring, and reporting on field marketing activities
  • Pitch in on other areas of marketing, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce and Outreach application knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Life Science and or Biotech industry experience a huge plus
