Senior Finance Executive in Malaysia

Summary

The job is for a role in the accounting function of Love, Bonito, a digital-first womenswear brand with an omnichannel presence in Southeast Asia and international markets. The employee will be responsible for running day-to-day operations for the HQ team and contributing to the growth of the regional accounting function.

Requirements

• A passion for all things accounting and finance
• A genuine interest in retailing and/or e-commerce
• An ability to think & work strategically and systematically – continuously prioritizing key deliverables
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think out of the box with solutions that are scalable, sustainable and cost- efficient
• A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach
• Strong project management, multitasking and execution abilities
• Strong communication skills to inspire and influence internal stakeholders (HQ or Markets)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences
• Proficient in MS Office, experience in SAP B1 is a plus
• Degree in Accountancy

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts operation team into a high performing, efficient, accurate and innovative team
• Task owner of AP Matters: Invoices, payments processes, bank reconciliation and assist GL team in accruals list
• Leverage technology to constantly improve productivity and quality of accounts operation and process flow
• Involve in more projects: Lead & assist store opening accounting processes, set up and banking matters if there is any
• Being a proactive partner to various internal departments and external business partners
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
• To lead more junior members in future
