Senior Finance Manager

Requirements

• Proven experience in a finance role within an early-stage startup, ideally in tech
• Track record of managing finances across international markets (Germany, UK, US)
• Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations
• Experience with financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in accounting software (ideally DATEV and QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for taking initiatives
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage all entities' bookkeeping, invoice processing, and month-end closings
• Collaborate with external accountants and consolidate financial statements for leadership reporting
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting (4-year outlook), ensuring regular updates in collaboration with department heads
• Support fundraising activities and oversee tax declarations, annual financial statements, and compliance, including Transfer Pricing Agreements
• Automate and standardize invoicing and dunning processes across entities to improve efficiency
• Handle company accounts, credit cards, and travel-related expenses
• Oversee bonus structures and track employee bonus performance
