Have a strong background in financial modeling, balance sheet analysis, and executive reporting

Responsibilities

  • Support cash flow forecasting and management efforts, ensuring liquidity and financial stability
  • Develop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet analyses and report on key financial indicators
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to inform financial and operational decisions that enable key initiatives
  • Prepare materials for board / investor meetings
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance, preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
  • Lead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • FP&A experience at a software company
  • Experience at a highly regarded financial institution that involved robust financial modeling (i.e., investment banking, growth / private equity, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in cash flow management and working capital optimization
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives in a finance function
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner
