Summary
Join InMarket as a Sr. HR Generalist and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will administer and execute HR functions, maintain employee records, support People-related projects, and facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, agility, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will partner with department leads on employee engagement initiatives, develop organizational guidelines, and promote HR programs. This position also involves managing performance improvement plans, developing reports, and assisting with immigration processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of HR experience and a working knowledge of employment law.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR experience
- Experience in working in a payroll system such as ADP
- Working knowledge of federal and California and National employment law
- Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft products
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR functions, including but not limited to performance management, employee relations and investigations, engagement, leaves of absences, and training & development
- Oversee and maintain employee personnel files and records, assist with employee changes, performance reviews, etc
- Support People-related projects, including process improvements, compliance audits, and implementation of new tools or systems
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes with a high degree of empathy and care
- Onboard InMarketeers via Cleary & ADP as the first point of contact, providing them a welcoming employee experience while assisting in immersing them into our culture
- Partner with department leads and team managers on overarching employee engagement initiatives
- Participate in developing and implementing organizational guidelines and procedures
- Promote HR programs and initiatives to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Embody InMarket’s company values and actively support InMarket’s Culture Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Committee
- Facilitate and manage employee performance improvement plans
- Develop and maintain custom reports to support People metrics and company-wide reporting needs
- Assist in the full immigration processes for OPT, H-1B, and green card sponsored employees and candidates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using HR software such as ADP Workforce Now, Ethena, ChartHop, Asana, and Cleary
- Experience supporting a remote workforce in a multi-state company
- Bachelor's degree
