Summary
Join Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) as a Senior Internal Wholesaler, Life Distribution! You will provide exceptional phone and web-based support to agents and marketers, focusing on case design, product information, and competitive analysis. This role also involves outbound communication campaigns to promote F&G products and achieve sales goals. You will collaborate with various teams, including National Account Managers and VPs, and contribute to training and marketing efforts. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, extensive experience in customer service and the insurance industry, and strong communication skills. Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in business or related field
- 5+ years of professional work experience with demonstrated background in serving customers, working collaboratively across internal or external teams, problem solving, and the ability to effectively communicate both in small or large group settings
- 2+ years of experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry
- Highly knowledgeable regarding the life insurance marketplace, products and IMO distribution
- General knowledge on economics and financial planning
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Power Point required
Responsibilities
- Support the growth of sales by efficiently managing high-volume inbound phone and email inquiries & providing quality sales support to agents and marketers
- Initiate proactive sales initiatives in coordination with Life Sales objectives
- Demonstrate thorough, in-depth knowledge of F&G products, practices and procedures
- Provide cross-organizational support to agents and marketers including inquires related to underwriting, contracting and commissions, new business and policyholder support
- Train agents and marketers on F&G illustration software and agent website use; troubleshoot and/or report system issues
- Maintain strong knowledge of life insurance industry and competitive landscape; assist in developing competitive positioning talking points or collateral
- Develop expert knowledge of specific account requirements as they relate to service capabilities and procedures, to include relationships with TPAs, operations, and other F&G departments
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with high-value agents and proactively identify opportunities for business growth
- Partner with National Account VPs and National Account Managers to assist in new account onboarding, development and maintenance
- Assist in creation and distribution of marketing materials and sales concepts
- Conduct highly effective web-based sales presentations and trainings
- Provide additional support as assigned by leaders and peers
- Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
- Regular and punctual attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Life product sales support experience preferred, specifically in Indexed Universal Life products
- Life insurance license preferred
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred; Ability to accurately and consistently document activities
