Summary

Requirements
- Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience in sales and/or business development, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- 3 or more years of experience leading and managing high performing sales and business development teams
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms
- Understands sales management including compensation plans, quotas, and coaching
- Strong management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance
- Excellent sales process skills

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high-performing sales and business development team, fostering a culture of accountability and success
- Evaluate the performance of business development initiatives and ensure objectives are met and identify opportunities for improvement
- Identify high-value opportunities and lead initiatives to achieve significant revenue growth
- Oversee the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring exceptional client experiences
- Create and oversee the execution of sales forecasts and targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Provide detailed reports and strategic insights to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and success
- Drive sales initiatives for key accounts, focusing on high-value deals and long-term contracts
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including emerging markets, products, and partnerships
- Introduce innovative strategies and tools to enhance sales efficiency and business outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, stakeholders, and industry partners to foster collaboration and secure new business
- Partner with marketing and demand generation teams to create campaigns that resonate with target markets and drive closed won bookings
- Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of top talent in the business development function
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on sales achievements, pipeline updates, and growth initiatives to senior leadership
- Continuously assess and refine strategies based on data-driven insights
- Work with Business Operations team to improve sales process and reporting
- Manage CRM compliance
- Manage sales team expenses
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or global equivalent a plus
