Summary
Join Chainguard as the Field Marketing Manager for Central Europe (DACH & Benelux Region) and play a key role in driving demand. You will develop and execute regional marketing plans, generate pipeline, accelerate sales, and strengthen customer relationships. Based in Germany (ideally Berlin), this role supports a remote work model and requires fluency in German and English. The position focuses on building and scaling marketing efforts, with growth opportunities. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in field marketing/demand generation, with a track record of working with field teams and building successful regional marketing plans
- Expertise in regional marketing strategy β Proven experience planning and executing a mix of field events and programs tailored to regional market dynamics
- Strong partnership mindset β Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships that align marketing efforts with business goals
- Analytical skills β Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, using metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed
- Excellent communication & leadership β Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across teams
- Willingness to travel β Must be able to travel 20-25% per quarter for events
- Fluency in both German and English is required
Responsibilities
- Develop Regional Field Marketing Plans β Create and execute quarterly marketing plans that align with regional sales and pipeline goals
- Execute Regional Marketing Programs β Drive demand generation initiatives, including Chainguard-hosted events, industry conferences, partner events, digital programs & global campaigns
- Lead Strategic Initiatives β Plan and implement targeted marketing programs to engage key strategic accounts in your region
- Support Pan-EMEA Marketing Programs β Contribute to broader EMEA marketing initiatives and events to ensure regional alignment
- Collaborate with Sales Teams β Act as the primary marketing contact for regional sales leaders, BDRs, and partners, ensuring alignment on all marketing activities and GTM strategy
- Drive Partner Co-Marketing Efforts β Develop and execute joint marketing plans with key regional partners
