Summary

Blavity Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Programmatic Sales to expand the programmatic digital business of Blavity Media Group by growing revenue with existing clients and identifying new advertising prospects.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • 3-6 years in a Programmatic Ad Sales role
  • Strong familiarity with programmatic auctions, bid dynamics, PMP deals, SSPs/DSPs, DMPs, and advertiser packaging needs
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and analyzing data sets to provide recommendations to clients and various internal teams
  • Experience actively reviewing the performance of ad packages and leveraging performance insights to inform and improve future offerings
  • Experience working with clients, agencies, DSPs, and trading desks

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with agencies, trading desks, DSPs, and advertisers who control programmatic budgets nationally
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests, and proactive resolutions to potential issues
  • Execute new/maintain existing Private Marketplace and Programmatic Guaranteed deals
  • Work closely with the Direct Sales Team to capture programmatic revenue that has traditionally come from IOs
  • Evangelize Blavityโ€™s programmatic strategy both internally and externally through topline offerings and best practices, while being an expert on trends across the Ad Tech ecosystem
  • Understand and distill the value proposition of Blavityโ€™s audience data to internal and external stakeholders
  • Use effective communication with sales teams to understand and anticipate customer needs
  • Ensure that advertising solutions meet customer needs by setting internal and external expectations
  • Meet and exceed quarterly programmatic revenue goals
  • Work with the Integrated Marketing team to develop targeted programmatic sales collateral based on prospecting and market insights
  • Refine future offerings by working with the Ad Operations Team to develop an understanding of Blavityโ€™s ad stack, monetization capabilities, and best practices
  • Analyze Google Ad Manager and SSP platform reporting to identify opportunities and apply learnings to prospecting strategies
  • Research and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the programmatic advertising landscape and trends, including available ad technology tools and platforms

  • Candidates must be available to work at least 50% in alignment with the Pacific Time Zone
  • The annual salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000
