Summary
Join DigiCert as a Senior Manager of Sales Compensation to lead the administration of our sales compensation program. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of compensation plans and commission payments, managing a team of two, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. The focus is on effective administration and execution of the compensation program, not on building or maintaining the calculation model. You will collaborate on sales compensation design and quota setting, oversee commission payments, lead the design of sales performance incentive fund programs, and partner with various teams to resolve inquiries and improve processes. This position requires 5+ years of experience in sales compensation administration and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales compensation administration
- Proficiency in sales compensation software and tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions proactively
- Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide input and support for sales compensation design and quota-setting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational feasibility
- Oversee the issuance of compensation plans and ensure the accurate calculation and timely payment of commissions
- Lead the discovery, design, and costing of SPIFF programs, identifying opportunities to drive specific sales behaviors and outcomes, and ensure these programs are aligned with organizational goals and effectively communicated to the sales team
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and HR to address and resolve inquiries, perform analyses, and provide support related to all aspects of sales compensation
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance sales compensation processes, leveraging technology and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy
