Join Amplitude as the Manager of the Strategic Solutions Engineering Team! In this hands-on role, you will coach and mentor a team of Solutions Engineers, supporting the Sales Team in exceeding revenue targets. Requirements
- 3+ years managing a Pre-Sales solutions team with average deal sizes of $250k or more
- 3+ years of individual contributor Solutions Engineering experience in a customer-facing role
- A track record of displaying Amplitudeβs core values: ownership, humility and growth mindset
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel to help our prospects (up to 30%)
Responsibilities
- Prioritize creating great relationships both internally and with our customers
- Lead from the front. Own the success of the opportunities in your region. You will be expected to remove barriers to achieving the technical win and own the performance of the team
- Help us meet or exceed our revenue targets
- Coach and develop a team of high performance Solutions Engineers
- Be an excellent recruiter
- Articulate a deep understanding of Amplitude technology to prospect and customer audiences, from the C-suite to Dept Heads to Engineering, removing obstacles and delivering differentiated technical and business value propositions and proof points to customers
- Travel to customer on-sites to support demos and presentations to build strong customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with analytics, business intelligence, experimentation, DMPs and/or CDPs
