Summary

Join GuidePoint Security's rapidly expanding VRM team as a Manager of Strategic Alliances. You will play a key role in architecting and executing the company's strategic alliance plan, focusing on high-level partnerships. This involves managing day-to-day engagement with executive-level partners, aligning regional strategies, and driving revenue growth. You will need extensive experience managing strategic partnerships in a high-tech company, preferably in the security sector, and possess strong presentation and organizational skills. Requirements

  • 7-10 years managing and accelerating large, strategic partnerships in an early stage high-tech company (preferably security)
  • Strong presentation and organization skills will be required for this role, in addition to a track record of speaking to and coordinating with an Executive (SVP/EVP, C-suite) audience
  • Spent time on both sides of the fence -- partner AND vendor -- to bring multiple perspectives
  • Demonstrated track record of setting and overachieving KPIs that have a measurable impact on their respective organization’s goals
  • A dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has shown the ability to be a cornerstone of a “team-first” culture
  • Built and scaled a Partner Program at a cybersecurity or cloud hyper growth startup AND/OR F1000 organization from the ground up

Responsibilities

  • Be a key member of architecting and executing on Guidepoint’s ‘Strategic Alliance’ plan with our most high-level, business impacting focus partnerships
  • Assist in shaping utilization of current systems, processes, KPIs, etc. and be an integral part of evolving how partnerships are measured and ultimately, expanded upon
  • Take the lead on day-to-day engagement and relationship w/executives at our agreed upon “needle moving” partners
  • Working with each of Guidepoint’’s Regional Partners, you will align key leadership, and tailor a GTM strategy specific to the business needs of each region to drive KPIs, with each of the agreed upon Strategic Vendors
  • Ensure all key executives of partner GTM team are interlocked with Guidepoint at a corporate level
  • Identify areas of overlap with Guidepoint’s services and advisory practices to drive additional incremental pipeline and revenue
  • Consistently communicate strategy and progress against KPIs with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive value by increasing margins, overall marketing spend, driving sales and pipeline, and overall partner satisfaction score
