Summary

Join Elbit Systems of America as a Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing to lead, shape, and execute strategic marketing plans. You will partner with cross-functional teams to create and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, manage marketing content development, and plan and measure marketing campaigns across various teams. Responsibilities include developing micro-marketing plans for trade shows and events, driving a collaborative marketing planning process, establishing KPIs, and implementing data-driven marketing practices. You will champion the Strategic Marketing function, oversee trade shows and events, lead digital marketing strategy, and manage the functional budget. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications, Branding, Design or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of work-related experience required
  • 5-10 years of functional experience required
  • 5-10 years of management experience required
  • Understands and leverages the power of highly-effective marketing campaigns along with branding and communications principles
  • Strong strategic planning, marketing management and creative thinking skills
  • Creates inspiring and impactful marketing engagements to achieve business results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates effectively at all levels inside and outside of the organization with diplomacy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—remains positive/calm when dealing with strong/varied personalities and when operating under pressure
  • Leverages data, analytics, insights and metrics to propel marketing strategy and execute compelling initiatives/tactics
  • Successfully manages multiple ongoing projects in a high-volume, high-velocity, deadline-attainment environment
  • Possesses excellent project and people management skills—consistently delivering high-quality individual and team work product
  • Process-focused and quality-oriented with exemplary attention to detail and ability to be process agile as needed
  • Proficiency with Adobe CC (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premier) and other multimedia, video or desktop publishing software and Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Understands digital marketing and user experience, has functional experience using HubSpot or similar platforms
  • This is a highly visible role requiring strong, proactive, partnership, business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Upholds solid informing vertical and horizontal practices, does not build/operate/lead in ways that create silos within the organization
  • Your ability to listen deeply, fully understand the “why” and identify value for the customer will be crucial for success

Responsibilities

  • Develops and deploys strategic marketing plans aligned to divisional/functional strategies, building customer demand, preference and loyalty that enables growth
  • Partners with Brand Strategy, Corporate Communications, Business Units and Functional Areas to create and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, programs, engagements and tactics in support of business objectives
  • Manages marketing content development initiatives in tandem with Brand Strategy and Corporate Communications to clearly articulate Elbit America’s value propositions—effectively reaching, engaging, informing and influencing internal and external target audiences
  • Plans, executes and measures multiple marketing campaigns, tactics and engagements that are on strategy, on brand and on budget across several teams including Growth, Business Development, Strategic Marketing, Brand Strategy, Corporate Communications and others
  • Develops and executes micro-marketing plans for trade shows and events encompassing engagements with current and prospective customers, employees, government officials and other audiences working cross-functionally with Brand Strategy and Corporate Communications
  • Drives and operates a proactive and collaborative marketing planning process by engaging stakeholders in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment to business objectives and outcomes
  • Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), measuring campaign effectiveness providing real-time performance insights and post-campaign analysis/recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Implements impactful marketing practices by utilizing a data-driven approach, leveraging customer/market/product insights and trends, competitive landscape, political climate, emerging technologies and more
  • Utilizes a sustainable marketing planning framework enhancing efficiency and effectiveness for both short- and long-term success
  • Champions the Strategic Marketing function across the enterprise, educating and demonstrating the value it strategically delivers for positioning Elbit America, our people, products and services
  • Oversees and maximizes the value of trade shows, events and customer engagements utilizing this key marketing channel to engage customers and prospects—building demand and preference for our portfolio of customer-focused solutions
  • Leads digital marketing and internal/external web strategy, ensuring the intranet, elbitamerica.com and all company operated sites are utilized to their full engagement potential
  • Evaluates intranet/website performance, developing strategic roadmaps for maximizing user experience and optimizing functionality
  • Works with Growth Team leaders to align, evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance strategic marketing, brand strategy and strategic communication capabilities
  • Manages functional budget, including forecasting, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Upholds and enforces Elbit America’s corporate brand identity guidelines ensuring consistent messaging, tone-of-voice, and visual identity across all initiatives
  • Completes additional responsibilities and projects in support of the business as needed/assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree a plus
  • 5-10 years industry or agency experience preferred
