Summary

Join ZipRecruiter as a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (Technology) and strategically drive the growth of its technology teams. Lead recruitment efforts, manage a dedicated team, and develop targeted sourcing strategies. Enhance candidate experience, facilitate a competitive offer process, and strengthen ZipRecruiter’s brand presence. Collaborate with hiring managers and executives, leveraging data and market insights for effective delivery. Manage the Technology Talent Acquisition team, personally handle a requisition load, and be obsessed with candidate and hiring manager experience. Design and implement recruitment process improvements, utilize data-driven insights, and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in high-volume, full-lifecycle technology recruiting
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience
  • Proven track record of technology recruitment, ideally in a global environment
  • Proven experience using data, metrics and KPIs to drive decision-making
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels, internally and externally
  • Proficiency with Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Technology Talent Acquisition team in a player-coach capacity, overseeing both people management and full-cycle recruiting
  • Able to personally handle a requisition load to source, recruit and onboard top level talent and executive roles
  • Be obsessed with candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Design and implement improvements to the recruitment process with a focus on simplicity, efficiency and a seamless experience (for candidates and hiring managers) from initial contact through onboarding
  • Utilize data-driven insights to advise hiring managers, refine hiring strategies and identify emerging recruitment trends
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive the Talent Acquisition function’s success
  • Develop the team’s acumen in sourcing strategies to build robust candidate pipelines and relationships
  • Coach, mentor, develop and empower team members: foster an environment where team members can achieve their goals and enhance their skills
  • Provide guidance in areas of recruiting best practices, KPIs, surveys/assessments and the team’s professional growth
  • Create a culture of continuous learning and improvement to elevate team performance and individual capabilities
  • Partner across the People Team to understand our broader People strategy and ensure Talent Acquisition is a knowledgeable resource on People-related topics such as benefits and compensation strategy
  • Use and leverage ZipRecruiter products where possible to source and hire candidates
