Summary

Join Daiya Foods as a Sr. National Sales Manager and drive sales growth and product distribution with key customers like Albertsons, Meijer, HEB, and HyVee. You will be responsible for managing all selling activities, maintaining relationships with major customers and broker partners, and developing business-building initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with the VP of US Sales to develop strategic vision and sales strategies. You will also forecast sales, represent Daiya at trade shows, and achieve quarterly KPIs. The position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible work environment.

Requirements

Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field and five (5) years of experience in Key Regional or National Customer Management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with VP of US to develop strategic vision, sales strategies and objectives, financial budgets, and forecasts for customers of responsibility
  • Oversee all aspects of sales forecasting, planning and execution initiatives
  • Build, develop and maintain positive relationships with accounts
  • Superior utilization of the category management process to drive thought leadership within dairy free categories
  • Satisfy customer needs and strive to deliver revenue, share, and contribution growth using fact-based solutions
  • Proactively identify and implement business-building initiatives that contribute towards the achievement of superior business results for Daiya and the customer
  • Manage, educate, and lead broker and distributor partners in the support and management of the Daiya business with our customers
  • Forecast annual sales based on trends and company objectives
  • Represent Daiya at trade shows and trade association meetings to promote products and seek new business
  • Achieve or exceed KPIโ€™s each quarter
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary

  • Passion for wholesome, plant-based, natural or alternative foods
  • Willing to travel when needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated within a remote home office environment
  • Strong understanding of SPINS
  • Strong persuasive writing and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Ability to grow sales in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
