Join Highlight's Operations team as a Survey Programming expert, responsible for complex screener and survey programming, and final data deliverables for full-service clients. You will leverage your research expertise to design surveys, analyze results, and generate meaningful insights. Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience at a market research agency
- Experience developing surveys for quantitative primary market research purposes โ ability to create crosstabs, pivot tables, and organize data in a way that enables insight extraction
- Strong expertise of survey software like Qualtrics, Alchemer, Forsta, SPSS Data Collection, and QuestionPro; capable of programming complex surveys with custom logic and design; experience using Microsoft Excel & SPSS for data manipulation and reporting
- Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical and possesses excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and storytelling reports
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in research and analysis
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Program and deploy surveys using Alchemer, Typeform, or other survey vendors
- Design complex survey logic and customizations (i.e., redirects, custom variables, typing tools, etc.) to meet specific project and customer needs
- Design surveys according to objectives and clean data needed for analysis; make suggestions for decisions and direction on survey design and statistical analysis
- Analyze results to generate meaningful insights, with the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to address client needs
- Process and clean data, preparing it for analysis and ensuring it aligns with research objectivesโRecode variables and structure raw datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Perform data validation and quality control checks to ensure that all data is accurate and complete
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues that may arise during the programming, study setup process, and once the survey is live in monitoring data collection
- Enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all tasks
- Uncover opportunities to standardize our process further
- Partner with CE/Research to advocate for software feature enhancements to improve project operations that ultimately lead to higher data quality and improved on-time delivery of results to customers
- Identify root causes of project issues, develop alternative solutions, implement action plans, and communicate updates to project teams and vendors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using other tabulation softwares such as spss, tableau, mtab, compusense, etc
- Familiarity with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python
