Summary
Join Sumo Logic as a Sr. Partner Product Marketing Manager and strategically plan and execute content development, sales enablement, and partner/customer engagement for the Sumo Logic Security portfolio. You will leverage your security and observability domain expertise, along with product and partner marketing experience, to build credibility with sales, partners, and customers. Responsibilities include developing partner marketing plans, creating sales and marketing collateral, supporting customer meetings and training, and delivering enablement to sales and partners. You will also develop competitive assessments and drive integrated campaigns. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in relevant fields and a technical undergraduate degree. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in product management, partner marketing, product marketing or sales engineering or technical marketing roles with a complex SaaS offering geared to a DevOps audience and product slant
- Knowledge of the cloud, infrastructure, and observability ecosystems, specifically AWS
- Knowledge of enterprise security, cloud security, and threat detection
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills to evangelize how Sumo excels at offerings for the various IT Operations persona both internally and externally
- Highly technical to independently develop demos, webinars, videos, technical collateral, ROI/value-oriented assessments, etc
- Highly collaborative work style to learn from others and build upon their ideas
- Passion for driving product innovation and to effectively communicate cross-functionally within Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales
- Curiosity to learn the intricacies of Sumo Logic's business and adapt past experiences to Sumo Logic's current opportunities
- Technical undergraduate degree
Responsibilities
- Develop partner marketing plans through deep engagement with product management, sales and other marketing teams
- Design and develop partner facing sales and marketing collateral including presentations, benchmarks, blogs, white papers, videos and field training courses
- Support customer meetings and training
- Deliver enablement to sales, sales engineering and partners
- Develop competitive assessments, and creative collateral to position Sumo uniquely in the minds of Security practitioners
- Evangelize Sumo Logic security in ecosystem/partnering activities
- Drive integrated campaigns with other businesses and teams across internal and partner ecosystem
Benefits
- The expected annual base salary range for this position is $161,000 - $218,000
