Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in senior roles within the Fintech, Payments Industry, Banking, or related sectors, with a focus on strategic partnerships and business development
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing strategic partnership initiatives in the EMEA region, fueling business growth and market expansion
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a results-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Proven experience in managing complex partnerships, structuring agreements, and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Lead and strengthen strategic partnerships with acquirers, issuing banks, and card schemes across the EMEA region, providing strategic insights and driving impactful initiatives
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with dLocal's business objectives to enhance our market position
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and leverage growth, innovation, and operational excellence opportunities
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify strategic partnership prospects and gain a competitive advantage
- Drive the negotiation, structuring, and implementation of intricate partnership agreements that foster revenue growth and market expansion
- Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, industry influencers, and regulatory bodies to nurture a collaborative ecosystem
- Monitor and assess partnership performance against predefined KPIs, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes
