The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in product marketing within a SaaS company, strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep understanding of SaaS metrics.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in product marketing within a SaaS subscription company with a PLG motion
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing programs in a PLG funnel
- Highly skilled at customer and market research with a history of uncovering actionable insights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for cross-functional collaboration
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle stages, and subscription business models
- Self-starter with a growth mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine clear, differentiated product messaging and positioning that resonates with both individual users and enterprise buyers
- Continuously iterate messaging based on customer insights, competitive analysis, and market trends
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for product launches and updates, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams
- Define launch goals, create integrated campaigns, and measure success
- Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive conversion, engagement, and retention
- Collaborate with lifecycle, content and performance marketing, and product management to develop strategies to increase trailer conversion and customer retention
- Develop and execute data-driven testing and learning agenda to optimize conversion
- Conduct customer research to identify pain points, motivations, and buying behavior across user personas
- Analyze competitive landscape and market opportunities to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Synthesize customer and market research into actionable insights that influence marketing and product strategy and roadmaps
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams to align on product roadmap and priorities
- Establish best practice processes and communications for cross-functional collaboration
