Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in networking and/or cybersecurity
- 5+ years in product marketing, preferably in smaller organizations
- High technical proficiency in network architecture, protocols, and interactions
- A passion for exploring technical product features, uncovering unique value, and translating insights into compelling content and messaging
- A proven track record of creating impactful marketing assets, such as blogs, presentations, and demos, tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
- Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to craft messaging that resonates with technical and business stakeholders across different industries
- Strong interpersonal and management skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to present effectively in digital and in-person formats
- A self-starter mentality with a hands-on approach to solving problems and driving initiatives independently
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and sales leadership to develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that communicates runZero’s unique value to technical and non-technical audiences
- Dive deep into runZero’s technical features, exploring functionality to uncover key benefits and insights that resonate with customers and prospects
- Create engaging content that showcases runZero’s capabilities across different mediums, including blogs, case studies, demos, ebooks, and presentations
- Build compelling demo narratives and presentations that highlight runZero’s capabilities in solving real-world problems
- Conduct competitive analysis to position runZero effectively against other solutions and enable the sales team with actionable insights
- Plan and execute product launches, delivering clear, cohesive messaging across internal communications, events, and marketing campaigns
- Maintain and update customer-facing assets, ensuring messaging and positioning remain current, consistent, and impactful
- Represent runZero at industry conferences and third-party events
- Enable the sales team with high-quality assets, including battle cards, pitch decks, and technical content for specific customer segments
- Stay on top of the evolving exposure management landscape, incorporating trends and emerging threats into messaging and content
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of attack surface management, CAASM, vulnerability management, and other components within the Exposure Management marketplace is a plus
