Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
• Takes projects from the original concept through final implementation
• Defines project scope and objectives
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team
• Monitor project budgets and financial resources
• Hire staff and optimize resource utilization and allocation
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across all areas affected by the project
• Ensure consistent application of standards
• Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership on all matters related to the program
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, advocacy groups, and vendors
• Develop and deliver advanced training programs for staff on product use and best practices
• Mentor and guide junior staff members and other stakeholders
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Responsible for overall contract execution
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
• Regularly report on status, risks, and progress to senior management
• Develop, update, and enforce organizational policies and procedures
• Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure organizational policies are up to date
• Prepare detailed reports, including compliance metrics, audit findings, and corrective action plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, training sessions, and policy updates
• Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions
• Collaborate with industry experts and participate in professional forums to stay abreast of new developments and technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies is preferred
• Formal Agile or PM Certification
