Summary

Join Instacart's Expansions team as a Senior Program Manager and lead high-impact operational initiatives driving consumer-focused outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Legal. Instacart is currently hiring for this role in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, product management, or consulting, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-profile, cross-functional initiatives and deliver impactful results
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, including experience contributing to Product & Engineering roadmaps
  • A data-driven problem solver capable of analyzing complex datasets to identify pain points, prioritize opportunities, and deliver impactful solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decisions and achieve alignment
  • Creativity in problem solving, inspired by an ever-changing environment
  • Proficiency in SQL or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead Launches & Expansions: Manage seamless execution of retailer and product launches across areas such as delivery, pickup, alcohol, and Enterprise services. Ensure zero-defect launches and meaningful business outcomes
  • Enhance the Consumer Experience: Use data-driven analysis to identify and resolve customer pain points post-launch, develop innovative strategies to improve the consumer experience, and deliver quality enhancements that boost customer retention rates
  • Streamline Processes & Tools: Partner with our Product & Engineering teams to advocate for and implement scalable tooling improvements (e.g., Admin Ecosystem upgrades), leveraging AI to optimize workflows, reduce time-to-launch, and resolve issues
  • Create Frameworks for Efficiency: Develop playbooks, SOPs, and data-driven strategies to reduce escalations, improve launch efficiency, and implement quality metric monitoring for continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using and advocating for tooling or automation improvements (e.g., solving operational challenges with AI innovations)
  • Startup experience a plus
