Join our team as a Senior Project Manager and help shape the future of digital learning! Lead and oversee digital learning projects, partnering with designers, developers, and subject matter experts. You will be the primary client contact, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This remote position requires East Coast hours flexibility and potential quarterly travel. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in project management within digital learning, educational technology, or instructional design
- Deep familiarity with learning experience design or instructional design, including learning theory and assessment strategies
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and balance technical, creative, and strategic project elements
- Familiar with agile methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Excellent client management skills with experience facilitating discovery sessions, managing stakeholder expectations, and guiding subject matter experts through content development
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to change, and working autonomously to meet deadlines
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and other digital learning technologies (eg collaboration tools, assessment tools, SCROM)
- Passion for learning and remaining on the cutting edge of current thinking in learning science and educational technology
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end project management for digital learning initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment between project goals and client expectations while proactively managing risks and opportunities
- Facilitate client discovery sessions to understand learning challenges, define objectives, and craft strategic, learner-centered solutions
- Communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions clearly and proactively with clients and internal teams
- Oversee project workflows, including requirements gathering, sprint planning, iterative development cycles, and risk management
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams—learning experience designers, UX/UI designers, developers, and subject matter experts—to create engaging and effective learning solutions
- Advise and support clients in decision-making, guiding them through content strategy, learning design, and digital learning best practices
- Apply learning science and educational technology best practices to inform design decisions, ensuring content and assessments drive meaningful learner outcomes
- Anticipate and manage project risks, proactively identifying solutions to mitigate challenges
- Drive continuous improvement, refining processes and optimizing methodologies to improve team efficiency and project success
