Summary
Join Redis as a Senior Renewals Specialist and contribute to the success of our fast-growing company. This role involves managing the renewal process for assigned accounts, engaging with customers to secure timely renewals, and negotiating contract terms. You will build strong relationships with customers and collaborate with internal teams. Requirements
- 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in renewals, with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Team-focused with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly driven and competitive with a strong desire for success
Responsibilities
- Lead the renewal process for assigned accounts to improve renewal rates
- Engage with customers 180 days before renewal deadlines to secure timely renewals & multi-year contracts
- Prepare accurate renewal quotes and contracts in line with company policies
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and challenges
- Present renewal information independently and confidently
- Clearly communicate complex renewal contracts
- Address customer objections related to renewals
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing for mutually beneficial agreement
- Creativity with deal structure
- Use reporting tools to track renewal performance, maintain accurate & timely forecast, and identify at-risk accounts
- Report regularly to management on renewal status and key metrics
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships with sales, customer success, and other internal teams for a cohesive renewal approach
- Strong collaboration around problem solving
- Demonstrates patience and assertiveness on their expertise
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and insights for complex renewals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in database, cloud, or infrastructure technology is a plus
