Senior Revenue Accountant

Summary

The job description is for a Senior Revenue Accountant position at Axon, a company focused on protecting life through their ecosystem of devices and cloud software. The role involves ensuring accurate revenue and deferred cost numbers, preparing and booking journal entries, performing monthly revenue-related tasks, ensuring the integrity of key processes, supporting all internal and external audit activities, assisting with special projects as assigned, and bringing a fresh viewpoint to improve processes. The position is remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, or ability to qualify
• 3-5 years of accounting and analysis experience, revenue a plus
• Recent public accounting experience or revenue experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirable
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills are required for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial management
• Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
