Senior Revenue Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor degree, Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of revenue accounting experience (ASC 606/IFRS 15)
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work at a detailed level and interact effectively with all levels within the organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review complex revenue transactions
• Refine revenue recognition policies
• Drive revenue-related month-end close activities
• Provide direction on technical revenue accounting issues
• Prepare journal entries to record appropriate revenue treatment
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on revenue recognition matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
• Public company experience
