Summary

Join CF Benchmarks, a Kraken subsidiary, as a Sr. Sales & BD Lead in Europe! Lead sales efforts, driving client acquisition and growth for our index products. Manage institutional client portfolios, building relationships and demonstrating value. Identify new opportunities for our indices in crypto and traditional finance. Represent CF Benchmarks at industry events across Europe. Collaborate with marketing and content teams. This role requires 5+ years of experience in traditional finance sales with a proven track record in institutional sales. A strong understanding of indices, financial products, and cryptocurrency regulations is crucial. A robust network within financial services is also needed. Fluency in English is required, and additional European languages are a plus.

Requirements

  • +5 years of expertise in traditional finance sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment. Experience working in a crypto native environment is a big plus
  • Solid comprehension of the use cases for indices and market participants that would utilize them and knowledge of complex financial products
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations with a proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks. Knowledge of the EU BMR regulatory framework is a plus
  • A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with a focus on institutional and corporate clients
  • Interest about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends
  • Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document
  • Located in Europe or the UK, with fluency in English. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the CF Benchmarks sales effort across Europe, driving client acquisition and volume growth for the CF Benchmarks product suite
  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads through both inbound and outbound activities, while also supporting team members in doing the same
  • Manage a portfolio of institutional clients, building trust-based relationships, recognizing their needs, and demonstrating how CF Benchmarks can deliver value
  • Identify new opportunities for the company's indices and data to play an increasing role in both the cryptocurrency and traditional financial industries
  • Represent CF Benchmarks at industry events, traveling across Europe for client meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to convert brand awareness and interest into tangible business opportunities
