Summary
Join our Growth team as a Sr. Sales Development Representative and help scale our outbound sales engine. You will be responsible for booking qualified meetings with companies that fit our customer profile, leveraging our playbook. As the third SDR, your hard work and performance will directly impact your career progression and compensation. You will prospect, conduct research, and manage the sales cycle using Salesforce and other tools. The role requires strong communication and technical understanding, along with experience in a similar role. Requirements
- 1+ years of SDR experience
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to understand technical concepts (APIs, integrations, different softwares)
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Sequencing Software etc
- Ability to handle objections from customers and push back
- Self-motivated, disciplined, hungry, and curious about everything
- Hold yourself to a high degree of accountability
- Ability to be a sharpshooter independently, while collaborating with a team
- Flexible and able to adapt to changes and the needs of the business
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
Responsibilities
- Book qualified meetings for our account executives with strong-fit accounts (via email, cold calling, and social selling)
- Prospect new companies/contacts that fit our customer profile to book meetings
- Identify new opportunities to improve outreach messaging and tactics
- Ensure proper handoff of prospects to account executives, and equip them with context and research on the prospect
- Become a subject-matter expert on native SaaS integrations
- Stay up-to-date on prospects’ companies news to strike when timing is right
- Use our CRM (Salesforce) and other tools to manage the end to end sales cycle and documentation
- Provide weekly reports on sales activities and results to the team
- Show up on time every morning, with an organized plan for who you’re prospecting/following up with that day
- Respond to any replies, messages, and leads that have come in overnight to get demos booked
- Conduct research on and reach out to target accounts and prospects constantly (when you're stuck, move to the next account)
- Review the performance/metrics of your work to identify areas of improvement
- Share creative ideas with the team on how to drive better outcomes
- Spend the time to understand the product 1% better. Every. Single. Day
- Reach out for feedback and help whenever you need it
- Celebrate the wins as a team every day, big or small
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical background (computer science/product management degree, familiarity with APIs, software engineering bootcamp)
- Data-driven and analytical mindset
Benefits
- $70,000 - $90,000 a year
- 60/40 Base/On Target Earnings. If you exceed targets, you'll make even more. No cap
- 0.01% equity in the company
- Remote is an option
