Requirements

  • 7-10 years of total work experience, with at least 3-5 years in a sales management or team lead role, preferably within the Marketing Technology SaaS industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of MEDDICC sales qualification methodology is a plus
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback effectively
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team development
  • Skill in maintaining a high level of team engagement and motivation
  • Proven experience in establishing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and contributing to a collaborative sales environment

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of 6 AEs to ensure they meet and exceed their sales targets
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to provide constructive feedback and set clear, achievable objectives
  • Create a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and high morale
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive high-volume and high-velocity deals, as well as complex upper mid-market opportunities
  • Lead weekly pipeline review sessions to ensure accurate forecasting and CRM data integrity
  • Utilize and enforce the MEDDICC sales qualification methodology to streamline the sales process
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Solutions Architects, and Marketing to continuously improve sales processes and materials
  • Share best practices with other Sales Managers and collaborate on strategies to overcome common challenges
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall sales effectiveness
  • Monitor team performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Plan and coordinate team travel and events to foster team cohesion and culture
