Summary

Join RKON, an award-winning IT services company, as an Enterprise Senior Sales/Business Development Representative. This fully remote role focuses on driving sales growth within the manufacturing and healthcare/pharmaceutical sectors. You will cultivate key client relationships, design tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions, and manage a robust sales pipeline. Success in this position requires a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and a deep understanding of these industries' unique technology needs. A base salary of $150,000 and an OTE of $300,000 are offered. The ability to travel up to 25% is required, with access to a major US city/airport preferred.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of successful sales experience in IT and cybersecurity consulting, managed services, and product sales at the enterprise level
  • Strong understanding of the unique challenges and technology needs of the manufacturing or healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, including MSP/IT Outsourcing, MSSP, OT security, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • Proven success in meeting or surpassing sales quotas in a B2B sales environment, particularly within the manufacturing or industrial or healthcare and pharma sectors
  • Ability to engage clients in a consultative manner, understanding the specific needs of organizations and delivering tailored cybersecurity and IT solutions that address these challenges
  • Adept at articulating the value and technical aspects of RKON’s service offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled in developing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders in organizations, including IT directors, security officers, and operations managers
  • Experience working alongside technology vendors and internal teams to create comprehensive and integrated client solutions for clients
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by selling RKON’s managed services and cybersecurity solutions to manufacturing clients or healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with decision-makers in manufacturing enterprises or healthcare and pharma, including C-suite executives, to ensure long-term partnerships and sustained business growth
  • Utilize RKON’s portfolio to develop tailored cybersecurity and IT solutions that address the specific challenges of the manufacturing industry, including supply chain security, operational technology (OT) protection, and regulatory compliance
  • Leverage RKON’s portfolio to create tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions that address challenges like HIPAA compliance, patient data protection, and clinical data security
  • Build, manage, and optimize a robust sales pipeline targeting manufacturing or healthcare/pharma clients, ensuring steady deal flow and conversion of leads into loyal customers
  • Partner with leading technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Rapid7, Checkpoint) to deliver integrated, co-sell solutions that address clients’ unique cybersecurity and IT needs
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue and deepen client relationships
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on achieving $300k OTE, contributing to the overall growth objectives of the company
