Senior ServiceNow UI Developer

Summary

Join MetroStar as a Sr. ServiceNow UI Developer to design, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and enhancements. You will collaborate with stakeholders, provide architectural input, and maintain platform stability. This role requires an Active Secret clearance and experience with ServiceNow development, including the Service Catalog module and custom application creation. Preferred qualifications include extensive ServiceNow development and consulting experience, along with Service Portal development expertise. • Active Secret clearance required
• Experience using UI Builder tool within ServiceNow for front-end and custom development efforts

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders within the organization to identify and develop custom ServiceNow solutions and interfaces
• Provide architectural input and help maintain stability of the overall platform by ensuring the appropriate design and development standards are always used
• Work independently and as a technical team member
• Work in multiple instances and domains, supporting internal and external customers
• Utilize an Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work
• Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices
• Collaborate with business, systems, and Technology partners in business analysis meetings to develop business and systems requirements
• Solution and develop requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
• Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc
• Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow
• Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements
• Ability to create custom components, layouts, and interactions based on stakeholder requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow Development experience, including experience with the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications
• 5+ years of ServiceNow Consulting
• 3+ years of Service Portal Development experience
