You will work with various teams, including sales, marketing, and delivery, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in relevant fields
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects with high impact
  • Each Sr. Solution Architect should be an expert in most Service Lines within their respective Service Area
  • Highest level of English proficiency, both verbal and written
  • Ability to present ideas and information effectively to English-speaking stakeholders
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with sales, marketing, and delivery teams
  • Ability to earn credibility quickly with C-level executives
  • Advanced coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and risk management skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations in the United States or Gorilla Logic offices in San Jose, Costa Rica or Medellin, Colombia as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural vision and direction for major client engagements
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align with business goals and support future business needs
  • Design comprehensive, scalable, and efficient solution options for clients
  • Create compelling, persuasive narratives in a client-ready format to propose solution options to clients
  • Assimilate client feedback to improve solution designs
  • Produce and maintain detailed documentation of solution designs, including diagrams of the solution architecture, integration points, and data flows
  • Lead the development of critical software components and directly contribute code artifacts to client solutions, as needed
  • Engage in hands-on software development activities, including coding, code reviews, and debugging to ensure the technical quality and integrity of solutions
  • Lead technical resources to estimate the effort and time required to deliver proposed solutions
  • Provide detailed, written solution implementation plans to the Gorilla Logic delivery manager or account executive for the account, outlining solution effort, risk, and technical dependencies
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams delivering proposed solutions to ensure the delivery of expected client outcomes
  • Establish and enforce technical standards and best practices for software development, platform engineering, and system integration
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work with delivery managers to ensure solutions are delivered within budget constraints
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders to influence strategic decisions and drive innovation
  • Act as a thought leader and share strategic guidance externally with clients and other audiences on emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Represent Gorilla Logic at industry conferences and events to promote our technical capabilities
  • Drive the development of best practices, technical standards, architecture frameworks, and solution offerings
  • Partner with Client Service Teams (CST) to support and sustain strategic account management, innovation investments, and periodic business reviews
  • Identify opportunities within existing client portfolios and communicate with your respective Service Area lead for pursuit and follow-up
  • Promote continuous improvement within Gorilla Logic client delivery teams
  • Conduct client discovery calls to tell the Gorilla Logic story and credentialize our capabilities
  • Partner with the Sales organization to provide technical leadership and a solutions-based approach for sales pursuits and proposals
  • Support the Service Area Lead in evolving the portfolio of capabilities and solutions
  • Participate as a member of the Solution Engineering Leadership Team (SELT), contributing to the strategic direction and key decisions for the Solution Engineering organization
  • Lead and contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge sharing to enhance Gorilla Logic’s technical capabilities and service offerings
  • Facilitate cross-service area collaboration to deliver integrated solutions
  • Serve as a technical mentor for Solution Architects, Experts, and other technical team members
  • Partner with talent acquisition to identify and prioritize required skills for job applicants
  • Conduct job interviews to assess analytical and technical skills
