Summary

The job is for the Senior Vice President of University Partnerships at HyperionDev, a tech education provider. The role involves leading university partnerships in North America and the UK, growing the success of the partnership model, and working within the senior management team to help build and manage the company culture.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience leading a team of business development professionals tasked with partnering with universities in North America to launch educational offerings in a fee-for-service or OPM model
• At least 3 years of experience as a business development professional specifically working to pitch or account manage partnerships with North American universities to launch educational offerings in a fee-for-service or OPM model
• Extremely strong business acumen
• Highly skilled at strategic analysis, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Undergraduate degree in business, management, law or a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Lead the function for acquiring university partnerships in North America and the UK
• Grow the success in the partnership model that Hyperion has achieved after partnering with some of the world’s top universities, including Imperial College London
• Drive the hiring of new staff in North America and Europe to scale our university partnership functions

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience leading a team of business development professionals tasked with partnering with universities in North America to launch educational offerings in a fee-for-service or OPM model
• At least 5 years of experience as a business development professional specifically working to pitch or account manage partnerships with North American universities to launch educational offerings in a fee-for-service or OPM model
• Experience leading the launch of career acceleration-type partnerships with universities in the US and abroad
• Prior experience in a high-growth, tech-focused environment
• Prior experience in education or education technology
