Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in directing social media campaigns with significant growth in follower engagement
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their algorithms
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and a keen eye for visual content
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing trends and algorithms
- Excel in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a cross-functional team of creative talent to develop and maintain a dynamic social media strategy, setting and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Establish and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms that aligns with organizational goals and brand identity
- Identify target audiences and determine the most effective platforms for reaching them
- Ideate, create, and curate high-quality, engaging content, including text, images, videos, and graphics
- Schedule and publish content across social media channels, adhering to a content calendar
- Monitor social media platforms for mentions, comments, and messages
- Foster positive relationships with followers and address concerns or issues
- Track and analyze KPIs such as reach, engagement, follower/subscriber counts, and more
- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust the social media strategy for optimal results
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all social media channels
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Experiment with new features and technologies to improve the brand's social media presence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creators, and customer support, to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies
