Summary

Join Xplor as our Social Media Specialist and drive client acquisition and customer retention by developing engaging social content for the Home Services division. You will create and manage the social media strategy, build content calendars, and nurture positive interactions. As the in-house social platform expert, you will collaborate with the marketing team, manage online communities, respond to member requests, and address online reviews. You will also be responsible for creating high-quality content, including short-form videos and user-generated content (UGC), and monitoring social media channels to provide regular analytics reports. This role requires travel occasionally to capture in-the-field content and maintain a deep understanding of the field service industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing social media channels and proficiency in creating short-form video content and graphic design.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media channels for a creative agency or in-house brand, with a shareable portfolio
  • Experience in SaaS or Field Service Industry
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Proficiency in creating short-form video content and graphic design (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
  • Experience in obtaining user-generated content (UGC) and working with social influencers
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (HootSuite, Hubspot, Google Analytics, etc.) and SEO best practices
  • Ability to create compelling B2B narratives and multimedia assets
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple brands to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue objectives
  • Create and manage high-quality content, including short-form videos and user-generated content, for various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Monitor social media channels, track key performance metrics, and provide regular analytics reports to senior marketing leaders
  • Improve our user generated content by working with various internal departments to identify happy customers, then provide outreach to those customers to obtain UGC
  • Engage with online communities, respond to member requests, and manage the company's reputation by addressing reviews on platforms like Google and Capterra
  • Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activities to optimize content strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and showcase happy customers, supporting user-generated content initiatives and GTM campaigns
  • Coordinate with writers, designers, and web developers to produce marketing deliverables that align with overall brand strategy
  • Travel occasionally to capture in-the-field content and maintain a deep understanding of the field service industry
  • Increase YouTube views, find new collaborations, and onboard social influencers
  • Research field service industry-related topics to develop an understanding of your audiences
