Summary

Xometry is hiring a Project Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to customers, manage projects worth over $100k, and work with sales to win production opportunities. The role requires 5+ years of project management experience in product development and serial production, PMP Certification preferred, strong knowledge of mechanical product development and manufacturing processes, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in product development and serial production
• Strong knowledge of mechanical product development and manufacturing processes
• Experience with GD&T, metrology tools, and quality control requirements (APQP, PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, and/or ISO 13485
• Engineering degree (mechanical preferred) or related field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willing to travel up to 25%
• U.S. citizen, legal resident, or valid work visa required

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, proposing solutions to manufacturing and supply chain problems
• Work with Sales to win production manufacturing opportunities across North America
• Manage projects valued at $100k+
• Conduct discovery meetings and qualify opportunities
• Demonstrate Xometry capabilities, including quality control processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline quoting and ensure customer satisfaction
• Attend customer visits and lead technical presentations
• Manage relationships with strategic customers
• Drive quote strategy meetings and escalate issues when necessary
• Develop technical aspects of customer proposals

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification preferred
• CAD experience preferred
