Summary

The Partner Programs Manager (PPM) at Coupa is responsible for managing the Private Equity and Venture Capital partner ecosystem, leading regional business development efforts, developing strategic partnerships, building relationships with PE/VC partners, coordinating new business activities, and maintaining Salesforce data accuracy. The role requires a background in channel and partner development, sales and marketing or account management, excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building skills, leadership qualities, 5 to 7 years’ experience selling enterprise software directly to end customers or channel development / strategic alliance experience, and a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Background in channel and partner development, sales and marketing or account management
  • Excellent oral and written communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship/team building and account management skills
  • Leadership qualities that reflect a self-motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience selling enterprise software directly to end customers and/or channel development / strategic alliance experience
  • Establish and track metrics with recommendations for continued improvement
  • Work in compliance with company standards and business guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Manage, and support the Private Equity and Venture Capital partner ecosystem and Coupa sales teams within your region for field sales engagement
  • Lead partners and Coupa sales in regional business development efforts and manage joint account planning
  • Develop strategic partnerships to drive value creation across PE/VC portfolios
  • Ensure quarterly business reviews and course corrections with partner leadership in order to ensure achievement of mutual goals
  • Build long term and strategic relationships with PE/VC partner executives, as well as, partner & field sales teams
  • Manage and attend shared PR and marketing activities across partners
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Private Equity and Venture Capital partners and be the liaison between Coupa sales teams and partners
  • Coordinate and drive new business activities from start to finish
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce data accuracy

  • The estimated pay range for this role is based on location: Bay Area, California: $128,350 - $151,000; Colorado: $115,600 - $136,000; New Jersey: $126,650 - $149,000; New York: $126,650 - $149,000; Washington: $115,600 - $136,000
